Our History
Our journey began in 2009 with handmade body care products and roll-on oils that reflected our love for cultural wellness. But long before our first book was ever created, the seed for educational publishing had already been planted.
As a devoted member of the MUI Homeschool Network, I had always carried a passion for developing learning tools that reflected the beauty and brilliance of our children. I believed we would build them together as a community. But when our group stopped meeting, that vision didn’t die; it took root within me. I knew the work still had to be done.
The first fruit of that seed was English Lesson No. C1, a handwriting book in print and cursive. I created it out of sheer necessity while teaching my youngest child the Supreme Wisdom, I realized I couldn’t even read his handwriting. So I made a tool that could help him write clearly and confidently. When I showed it to my daughter, she said, “I wish I had this when I was younger.”
That one book opened the door to something greater. I didn’t stop there. For years, I printed, bound, and packaged each book by hand pouring love into every page and pressing forward with a vision bigger than me. Before we ever used a publisher, I was a one-woman print shop, using what I had to create what our children needed. With the beautiful clip art generously shared by Sister Donna, we were able to bring our covers to life with imagery that truly reflected us.
As word spread about what we were building, more support came in. It was Sister Teoka who encouraged us to publish our books on Amazon opening the door for our work to reach even more families and classrooms. We’re deeply grateful for every person who supported us during those early days of hand-binding books and for those who continue to believe in our mission today.
That moment — that mission — still drives us: to create culturally grounded, God-centered educational tools for Black children, parents, and homeschoolers. We build materials that reflect who we are and prepare our children for who they’re destined to become. Because we believe that every child carries something great inside of them — and our job is to help them see it.
Explain at the end of the history portion. Two previous supporters said they have seen the evolution of our products from where we started to where we are now, this is the biggest encouragement and achievement to keep going.
Our Vision
We envision a world where our children grow up confident in their identity, connected to their culture, and equipped with knowledge that affirms their worth and brilliance. Our books aren’t just educational — they’re revolutionary tools to rewrite the narrative and restore truth from the cradle forward.
What We Offer
We create and curate resources that reflect who we are and who our children are becoming. From educational handwriting books and interactive workbooks to flashcards, original music CDs, and more, everything we offer is crafted with intention and love.
As dedicated book developers, we’re always expanding our collection updating existing titles and introducing new tools that support families, educators, and homeschoolers on their learning journey.
Every product is designed to nurture a child’s mind, spirit, and self-worth without ever compromising on quality, cultural identity, or truth. These aren’t just learning materials they’re legacy builders.
